Feets / Collection / My build The CAR-15 at home is now done
I did have the top charging handle, but let's say it did not survive in one piece. I'll have a video on that soon. But the CAR-15(ish) looks better with the short barrel compared to the original feather.
Also the MadDog M733/M723 airsoft stock fits on the tube perfectly, so its still fully adjustable.

That looks really good. The only reason I haven't used a metal airosft carry handle is that the CAR-15 doesnt have the side screw nobs.

I totally get that, I'm working on modifying an A1 style carry handle to fit and then 3D print 😅

That looks good! Ever thought about doing a CAR-15 from Blood Diamond?

This is a gun that you added furniture to to make it look like one?

Its the TM22 feather 12" version. I added an A2 flash hider, A2 grip, Airsoft CAR-15 stock, TM22 mag sleeves, and I drilled a hole in the included carry handle to attach a carry handle pic rail.

Have you had any issues shooting the gun? I really want one but even the store clerk is saying the all plastic causes issues during prolonged use. I haven't had any issues with the all metal one.

When I reviewed the original feather, I had no issues. I've only taken this out once for a limited test but I had no issues.
I'll make a review sometime before the end of the year, sooner hopefully. But at the end of the day, plastic will always degrade faster than metal. This is one of those things you gotta try to look at large samples to get a good idea.
