Buy recommendations 22 Plinker
Good day all, just received my pal right at the 28 day mark for valid which I’m happy about. My question is looking for a 22 for range target for my15 year son and myself.
Thoughts are derya TM-22 metal or a Ruger 22 custom like the Archangel

Out of Box Value the Tm-22 is better. You have the turk hating people on here that just can't admit that but it's true.
If you want to mod it out and spend another $1000 the 10/22 will be better. However then you're comparing 500 vs 1500. Not a fair comparison.
With that said, legality in mind. I think the 10/22 will be one of the last guns to be taken from us. So I would pick the 10/22 solely based on that.
