Buy recommendations 22 Plinker

Good day all, just received my pal right at the 28 day mark for valid which I’m happy about. My question is looking for a 22 for range target for my15 year son and myself.
Thoughts are derya TM-22 metal or a Ruger 22 custom like the Archangel

10/22's are more customizable than the TM22, but the TM22 already comes with many of the upgrades you would want. TM22 has factory access to 25 round mags that the 10/22 doesn't. You can upgrade a 10/22 to take 25 round Tuff22 mags however they are 50% more expensive than TM22 25 round mags. There is a new. 22 on its way from O'dell that sounds very interesting. Proprietary 25 round mags but also able to use 10/22 mags. It sounds like it might be similar to the Tuff22 system. I have three TM22's and six 10/22's and both are nice fun guns. If you go TM22 make sure to get the all metal version.
