Buy recommendations 22 Plinker

Good day all, just received my pal right at the 28 day mark for valid which I’m happy about. My question is looking for a 22 for range target for my15 year son and myself.
Thoughts are derya TM-22 metal or a Ruger 22 custom like the Archangel

10/22 all day, get used to how it works, tinker with that one using some of the wicked guides available online. Can always turn it into whatever you want down the road since it has a ridiculous amount of aftermarket options for any type of part you could think of.

Tm22 is fun and looks cool, but can be a total pain to get running reliably since its made very cheaply and QC is sub par. Wouldn't be fun as an introduction to the hobby.
