Mostly done from parts that were lying around. Feels nice, hits stuff, cycles well with HV and SS which is a pleasant surprise.

Is that the Amazon FOLEY acog clone? How is it quality wise? Looking for something similar for my .223.

Not sure the exact brand but there’s a dozen or so available on there. I went for one with good reviews. It took a month to ship from China but honestly, the glass quality is decent and it holds zero. Even the knock off RMR works well and stays zeroed. Think it was about $150.

50% of the time it’s got the knock off ACOG on it and 50% I toss an EOTech on for more dynamic style shooting.

Honestly the Amazon/china optics arnt half bad. I bought one can change the colour and optic zero has held running courses as well about 3k rounds through it. I prefer it to my eotech actually

Yeah they’re surprising. I have the $30 reflex sight and it works great, was just looking for something with some magnification as well.

.223 is soft shooting enough that I feel most airsoft optics will fit the bill.

Where did you get the quad rail and the AR charging handle mods ?

Rails are just no name m-lok ones off Amazon.

The charging handle mod is the TommyEnt/Alex’sHomebrew collab. Personally wish I’d gone with the Alex Homebrew one since the receiver cover is metal versus the 3d printed one from Tommy. In both kits the charging handle itself is metal.

2 weeks or so.

Had to go from one side of the country to the other.

Eventually I’m going to have to order the metal receiver cover but I’m just not ready to eat another $200 on this gun yet.
