Buy recommendations Lever Wrap
What's the thoughts for lever gun handle wrap preferences? Leather or paracord wrap? For running without gloves. I noticed Amazon has the Wayne's Dog leathers which look nice.
Cheers.

I’ve got both I’ve got fairly rough and tough hands being a mechanic the leather is definitely nicer but the paracord was fun to learn how to do and put on and really isn’t that rough can still do cowboy flips without skinning myself

I also got the amazonian leather wrap and no drill sling for my mini lever, definitely like it. All depends on what you like, not us. Go with the style you prefer🤙

Try the paracord method. For a dollar or two and 30 minutes of your time, it's a cool activity. If you keep it, you can show it off to your friends.

I've done a self paracord wrap on a tactical looking lever action. Feels better for sure on bare hands
If I had a classic looking lever action, I'd want leather instead.
Either way, lever wraps are nice, especially with bare hands and if you have a larger lever.

I put a Wayne's Dog leather wrap on my Henry 22 rifle. I love it. I would put one on any future lever gun tbh

There are a ton of tutorials online. Definitely recommend trying the diy route. Its wicked easy.
Managed to find some parachord that has a fire starter woven into the central core. So not only is it stylish. If im even in a bind I can cut it off and use it.

i went with paracord. dirrable, cheap, easily replaced, soft enough to make it more comfy for the naked hand, small enough to allow gloves, more of a tactical look in my opinion

Leather shoe laces work really well, you can get it quite tight and they wear well
