Feets / Collection / My build Big button for my tiny asian hand

Couldn't reach the mag release with any bevertailed grips before, had a friend machined some threaded mag release pins for me

Should i buy a tm22? I have a dope 1022 built but like... these are really cool too. How's does the reliability compare? And is there good aftermarket?

I am probably half of the aftermarket lol

reliability wise it's you either get one that work and it will work for thousands of rounds without problem, or you get a one and need to send back for warrenty the first range session, most people are happy with it

I most likely will make barrel nut for clamp on ar handguard, I can't say my personal taste of handguard agrees with most people

The TM-22 is superior to the 10/22 until you invest more than a thousand dollars into the 10/22 (after which the 10/22 is the better option).

Out of the box, TM-22 ergonomics are better, reliability is better (it's a better design except when it comes to disassembly and QC), and magazines are drastically better (and cheaper, and you can get 25-rounders without jumping through hoops). Aftermarket is basically non-existent; you get what you get. The best way to use one is to buy it, then if you go into a discipline where a 10/22 is better, sell the TM-22 in any one of the usual places.

You can't buy a TM-22 that weighs 3.5 lbs with a CF barrel from the factory, you can't upgrade the chassis or trigger, taking it apart costs you your zero, and the last round hold-open is (like on Yugo AKs) implemented by the magazine and not the gun.

Honestly you made the design better…and the finish on your rifle reminds me of why I hate anodizing.
