Oh, another comment. I hate how this is a Tactical Imports exclusive because we've seen this before with the Type 81, but a certain few pricks (who I will not name) will just drop 10s of thousands on the credit card to buy as many as they can, then sell them literally within the first 7 days for double the price since the scalpers dried up all the stock...
I really hope this isn't the case this time around...

That's what I'm hoping too, from an email from Tactical Imports, they apparently do have stuff they send directly to other dealers but still qualifies for their lifetime warranty (at the time I was spooking at the FS Elite folding shotgun. They mentioned that while they were out of stock, they still had some at other dealers available, and that it qualified for the warranty)

I should add, as much as Turkish shotguns are a gamble, the real life spas 12 was an unreliable jank gun, so this will fit in just fine!

This is so accurate lol. Also, a lot of people are going to find out very quickly how much that folding stock sucks to get a cheek weld on.

When I saw this on instagram this morning I just had to. Just like when the Type-81M came. All the memories, Jurassic park, MW2, black ops, etc. SPAS-Tex130 had a lasting impact on me as a child.

They’re banned by name here in Illinois, the OG one of course and you cannot have a folding stock or pistol grip on any semi auto long gun, but sulun is making one with a traditional stock and it’s obviously a different reciever

You know for all the Doom and Gloom I say about Canadian gun laws, I keep forgetting there are some states that are even more retarded with gun laws than we are, which I find ironic for a country inundated with more guns than people...
The politicians should at least have a 70 IQ understanding that adding a pistol grip to an originally fixed-stock semi-auto shotgun doesn't magically make if 100x more deadly (it's 0x), but alas, Canada and Illinois share the same symptoms of politicians who never own guns, don't understand guns and who are graciously protected by scary men with banned "high capacity, assault guns", get to dictate to us what guns we can and can't own, while adding random pseudoscientific prohibitions that do nothing for safety...

At the end majority of politicians as a whole genuinely dont want people armed. Most of the major US states already have strict gun control let alone the rest of the world has any access to them. The “assault weapons ban” in Illinois hasn’t stopped criminals from committing gun violence and getting their hands on banned weapons or anything they want. Even the same in Canada where handguns are being imported by criminals illegally while law abiding Canadians have very little access to owning them legally.

Hahahha I picked up a Carmel already and my Makasi is incoming. All that waiting for the Makasi made me pick up an SKS D this week. Thank god these are sold out. My marriage was definitely at risk.

Being a gun from Turkey, it has to have an FRT number before it could be sold for sale (at this scale) in Canada.

All they need is a close enough FRN to get pass the CBSA. This is especially common with folks who import custom Rem700-pattern actions from noname shops in the US, they just declare it as an existing non-restricted bolt gun lol
In this case, TI likely used the FRT for the SG-12 (199098) as a stand-in for the SG-12 SPAS.
Edit: TI confirmed that this was indeed FRT# 199098

We're actually pretty shielded from that at this point, assuming the CFP/RCMP accepts that shotgun falls under the SG-12 FRT and is "not a variant" of the SPAS-12 (Ahem... See Blaze-47)
Because of the court challenge, Carney has said he is not going to ban any guns through regulation. Doesn't stop him from banning it through legislation, but that puts us in a spot where we can buy this and not have to worry about it being banned immediately tomorrow because Poly/Québec said so.

Non-Restricted. Barrel length is 51 cm (21.5") and when folded, is 82 cm (32") OAL (overall length), so it's Non-Restricted.
