More posting of my Winchester wildcat with SBI's 597 magazine adapter.

The weather is a lot better in these set of clips compared to my Previous video.

I've been running the SBI 597 magazine adapter in my Winchester wildcat for a while now and here is another clip to show and prove that the adapter does work in the Wildcat even though it is not a 10/22.

I outfitted my Wildcat with a Holosun ARO-EVO green dot since its 2026, and added an A2 flashhider to hide the massive muzzle flash from 22lr.

The most common failures I have had so far are failures to eject, which wouldn't be caused by the adapter. I did have one magazine where the follower just gets stuck on a burr or something and just doesn't feed rounds at @8:00 in the video.

Overall the adapter functions, works, and is probably one of the best ways to get 10+ round capacity for a 10/22 or Wildcat.

I also show off at the end the McFadden lightning grip speedloader with their 597 magazine adapter. It makes loading magazines a breeze since the 597 has no loading assists, and loading rounds after 15 starts to get really difficult. The speedloader grip works really well to have the better mechanical advantage and faster loading. The biggest issues I have had so far is that ammo sometimes gets stuck in the loading track, and that I sometimes have to push the grip out as the spring return doesn't push the loading head all the way out, causing it to not feed the next round to load.

If you email McFadden, they can price quote international shipping to Canada.
