Application / Regulation advice Traffic stop
Hello just wondering if I’m legally transporting a firearm (non restricted) and I am pulled over by a police officer am i under obligation to inform the officer i have a firearm in the vehicle?

No, it's lawful and doesn't pose any threat to anyone.
Sometimes a cop will ask "where you headed in such a hurry" if you're speeding or failed to stop at a stop sign.
You don't have to answer that either, just apologize without admitting guilt with "oh I'm sorry I didn't notice I hadn't fully stopped, it felt like I was completely stopped when I was trying to see down to the left there and I had to peak a bit."
Or "sorry officer, I was sure I had the cruise set on the limit, they last sign I saw was (insert correct speed limit here)"
You catch more bees with honey and you get more warnings with perceived remorse & being polite.
Follow the same type of example if an officer asks about a visible case in your car, you can tell them you bought it for (insert non-restricted firearm here), which is true and then ask them if they have any firearms themselves. (Asking about a women on a date or a cop at stop works the same, you get their approval).
