Application / Regulation advice Traffic stop

Hello just wondering if I’m legally transporting a firearm (non restricted) and I am pulled over by a police officer am i under obligation to inform the officer i have a firearm in the vehicle?

Short answer is No.

If i remember the long answer is, unless they ask, and even then, they likely wont ask unless you have a super obvious rifle bag in the passenger seat.

So keep it short and sweet, dont give anyone any information they dont need to know.

Even if they ask, you can decline to answer.
