My dear departed firearms instructor (RIP Richard) once surprised the hell out of me when he - as my passenger - blurted out that we were on our way to the shooting range when we went through a drinking and driving stop. I practically face palmed in front of the officer. After that Richard proceeded to try to recruit him into IPSC. Fortunately, that officer didn't give two shits and sent us on our way. I guess we both looked like normies.

The rest of our drive to the range was me making fun of him for nearly ruining our day.
