Application / Regulation advice Traffic stop

Hello just wondering if I’m legally transporting a firearm (non restricted) and I am pulled over by a police officer am i under obligation to inform the officer i have a firearm in the vehicle?

Been pulled over for speeding, cop saw hunting gear asked how it went but never asked about guns.

Each time a CO pulls me over (I keep running into them all over my province, not doing anything wrong just regular inspections) they instantly go for the guns.
