Hello just wondering if I’m legally transporting a firearm (non restricted) and I am pulled over by a police officer am i under obligation to inform the officer i have a firearm in the vehicle?

The answer to any question with a cop should be, am I being detained? am I free to go?

They are not your friend and talking to them is never to your favor.

As little conversation and detail as possible is the best way to talk to a cop
