Hello just wondering if I’m legally transporting a firearm (non restricted) and I am pulled over by a police officer am i under obligation to inform the officer i have a firearm in the vehicle?

As other have said, you’re under no obligation, however if it’s visible or evident that you have one, it’s probably not a bad idea to let them know. They’ll make sure it’s transported safely, and have a PAL, then send you on your way.
