Buy recommendations Metal trigger guard on a shotgun

Plastic trigger guards work well enough... but the upgraded trigger group on an 870 Police Magnum, 870 Wingmaster, or 590A1 are what will survive real abuse.

This is the exact reason I chose my 590a1 over getting something like the mav 88.

No regrets.

For sure. The maverick 88 is a great budget gun, but the 590A1 is build to be abused and keep going.

I beat the shit outta my 590a1 for fun and she keeps on truckin. One time my friend dropped a box of shells into freshly mowed grass, I grabbed a grubby handful, loaded it, speed shot all 9. He looked horrified, I said she doesnt mind her greens.

A quality gun can take a lot more abuse than people realize! I have guns with over 10,000 rounds through them that haven't had more than a wipe down with oil. Other people use the guns during a course, so they take a beating.

A turkish shotgun could do that.

Probably as it isn't really a stressful test. But Turkish shotguns are junk still. They don't have good quality control and they have sub-par metallurgy.

Yeah, bud. That's the point I made. It's not an impressive test.
