Application / Regulation advice UPDATE "Contact CFO"
Yesterday I posted about an issue I had when Bullseye North tried to verify my PAL.
They received an email saying to Contact CFO.
I promised yall an update.
So I called CFO and they said everything is good on their end, license is valid, no reports or anything. They told me to call Bullseye as it must be an issue on their end.
I called Bullseye and they verified it with RCMP while I was on the phone with them and said they mustve entered something wrong yesterday prompting the Contact CFO message.
So everythings all good now and I should be getting my new shotgun soon.
Figured I would post this to answer concerns if this happens to someone else in the future.
Thanks and stay safe y'all.

Glad to hear that everything worked out
Many many times when I go to verify a PAL the month/day order can be switched or also the email is not on file with the CFO
Its gotten bad lately on gunpost the success rate for PAL verification is like 50% something is always wrong
Sometimes you never hear back from the buyer either

Based on my experience the CFO will say exactly what they told you and then magically it will then pass verification.
I doubt Bullseye entered something wrong. When you do that it doesn't say call the CFO.

So inconvenience as compliance to make us feel privileged? Or just just bad systems and government incompetence?

Bingo! Do not explain something with malice that can be explained by incompetence.
