Meanwhile, we are still fighting for legal gun rights 😆 these people are already in next level.
Open carry a loaded AR-15🤣🤣🤣

A fully loaded AR-15 pistol, to be exact.

There’s only 23 rounds so you can bet there’s an unscathed pop can surrounded by 7 bullet holes in some parking lot.

Of course, need to have an excuse for not hitting a damn thing you’re aiming at

u/Aromatic-Motor8714 21d ago
Meanwhile Halifax Police are picking up all the declared legal ones as per the gun grab in HRM.

u/Acceptable_Visit_115 21d ago
Zoomed in on the gun, it's a Watchtower 15M, not on the FRT.
So the model was never brought into Canada and it's 100% smuggled.
30
u/elmo444555 21d ago
I was just about to comment that it looks like a model that was never available in Canada
17
u/SpectreBallistics Spectre Ballistics International (Verified) 20d ago
Even if it was on the FRT doesn't mean it was ever sold in Canada. This gun will likely receive a FRT entry now.
6
u/Acceptable_Visit_115 20d ago
Yeah, but a firearm which should've been legally registered (either restricted pre-2020 or to a prohib BFL holder post-2020) that has never been on the FRT means it 100% was never been in Canada legally to begin with.

u/Sticky_3pk 21d ago
No sights of course

u/Big-Guitar-1979 21d ago
Boys will just hip fire

u/FeeheeHeenie 21d ago
Or fire from a sideways-overhead orientation.
6
u/grathontolarsdatarod 20d ago
People rag on that particular tactical stance.
But you don't want to hit your girlfriend while you using her as a human shield AND its perfect for over the hood of someone else's car without exposing your head.

Damn, if only they didn’t extend the amnesty date, these thugs would have absolutely turned that in!
48
u/LordRaizer 21d ago
And legal PAL owners will get slapped down again for whatever reason
26
u/NIBLZ_HAMSTR 21d ago
RIGHT? Its like having a punk younger brother that's lipping off your mom and she slaps YOU. lol then he lips her off some more, so she slaps you harder.
12
u/Lumindan 21d ago
More like the kid down the street lips off to their mom and you get slapped.
Then you point out it's not even happening in your house and she slaps you again and calls you a single issue kid.
1
u/NIBLZ_HAMSTR 20d ago
Hahahaha even better... oh! And if you object to her slapping you for no apparent reason, then you must be a shitty little delinquent... and probably a nazi.

Wow but how on earth did they get an AR15 when those are BANNED?!? Everyone knows that once you ban a firearm it's impossible for criminals to buy them because of course they buy them from legal stores and those stores aren't allowed to sell those guns.
We better call Scooby-Doo and the gang to solve this mystery.

Jesus christ… I would so happily own an AR-15 and guarantee absolutely that I’d never commit a crime as a responsible Canadian citizen and RPAL holder…
So tired of hearing this shit in news and seeing that our merit and demonstrated responsibility counts for nothing… they’re never going to consider us or our values, hobbies, interests or community, and it’s always going to get harder.
If anything, the shithead criminals are only proving that we could hypothetically acquire whatever we want, permit or not, and if we keep to our individual values, morals, and ethics, it would be fine and affect no one else. Just saying is all…
Also, I would love to have the firearms my Grandfather (American) willed to me… they live in limbo in the states. Always bugs me from time to time and saddens me to not have what he cared to give and share with me. And to not be able to make the same memories with them and pass them to my son one day…
I absolutely have no plans, will, or intent to acquire anything illegally, but it always feels like we’re the ones being restricted more than anything.

u/Clover_Lawn_4440 21d ago
Seems like a simple harmless paperwork crime. No RPAL, no ATT and a storage/transport mistake. No one got hurt. No harm.
10
u/Top_Top7440 21d ago
the muzzle flash and boom from that maybe 6' barrel would be unmanageable. And is the ammo on a stripper clip or is it just organized for dramatic effect?

u/Top_Top7440 21d ago
nevermind, zoom is my friend.
Happy this is off the streets. Cops did good work here

u/PteSoupSandwich The 10/22 Dude 21d ago
All they have to do is claim that Toronto is like Iraq LMAO
19
u/thxxx1337 21d ago
Impossible. Canada banned those. It literally can't be done. Cops must be mistaken. Either way they were probably processed and released by dinner time.

Ammo is all matching. Shits getting real.

u/Particular-Agent-553 18d ago
Yea i also noticed that most gun seizures they got a mix of every brand of bullet some hornady some fiocchi some blazer some federal why do they do that lol
8
u/Whispersfine 21d ago
Oh wow. I wonder which outdoor store they bought that from.
4
u/Plasma_48 21d ago
One in the US, not sure how they imported it given there is no FRT number for it though. Must’ve been given a special exemption.

u/ekso69 21d ago
I've never understood the bare buffer tube, does that make anything easier?
11
u/spaceymonkey2 21d ago
It's a pistol, so having a butt on it would turn it into short barrel rifle in the US, which would be illegal there without extra permits.
2
u/ekso69 21d ago
That makes sense, thanks. I didn't realize the barrel length included the stock.
7
u/spaceymonkey2 21d ago edited 21d ago
The barrel length doesn't include the stock. It's just that in the states, the have regulations for short barrel rifles (under 16" I believe), and rifles have stocks. This is a pistol (no stock), therefore it's not a short barrel rifle.
6
u/chillyrabbit 21d ago
US Laws on SBR's, NFA and pistols.
SBR's rifles with barrels less than 16" are more heavily regulated than regular rifles, requiring you to follow NFA stamps and registration.
But "pistols" are not regulated by the NFA laws and pistols can have a barrel less than 16". Because that was marketed as a "pistol" it likely wasn't sold with a stock before it was trafficked.
2
u/edwardphonehands 21d ago
Rhett Neumayer of Demonstrated Concepts, featured on Forgotten Weapons, Luckygunner, etc. shows an upright technique for bare extensions, short barrels and tall micro optics arguably about equal to conventional off-hand (ie unsupported standing) rifle positions. I'm not proposing whether any possessor in the chain had such training, just mentioning relevant trivia (that should be in the public domain by virtue of youtube and not an ITAR violation on my part).
But the reason for the configuration appearing in the image may involve the legal distinction between a rifle and a pistol and the way receivers and parts are sold in the US.

Surely if we ban the sks we stop seeing these sks on fancy chassis with 30 round clips ( Polly seeing this post )

u/Aromatic-Motor8714 21d ago edited 20d ago
On their way to the gun club? Oh wait, AR variants have been banned for 6 years for even lawful owners. The government has figured out how to take guns from law abiding citizens but not criminals. Those youth will be back out shortly if not already released.

I have some hope due to the simple fact that the entire country can see the handgun freeze and the OIC bans are having absolutely zero effect on public safety. Its a huge spot light that the Liberals intention was to attack the firearms community for their political gain (looking at you Quebec). Plus, the MSM runs every story where a handgun or otherwise banned firearm is used. They do so frequently enough that people see the bans clearly didn't take those firearms off the streets.
3
u/Eglitarian 20d ago
Trust me, there was a post in the r/Waterloo subreddit about a vehicle being hit by a stray round (likely from some idiot in the nearby range firing over the backstop) and redditors were piling on about how “all guns should be banned, nobody needs a gun”.
The terminally online pearl clutchers definitely don’t have much of a care for the facts.

Man if you shot that in a vehicle you'd be ringing for days. Jesus Christ.
It's funny they never have sights or stocks. Love it.

These should be legal. They are taking it away from the people who actually cares about the regulations and letting the poeple who don't do so use it.

"But but SBRs, magazines over 5(10) rounds, transporting a restricted firearm without ATT, transporting a loaded (unlocked) firearm, and possession without a license make this illegal. You know what would fix this, banning break action shotguns!" - liberals
Actually no they probably think this is all legal because they don't know the firearms laws.

Why didn’t they return that pew pew when the government deemed it prohibited? Doesn’t even have a trigger lock! Don’t these people know the governments saving lives by reclassifying firearms for legal firearm owners?!?!?
