Seems like by CGN at least, the Carmel is considerably more pre-ordered currently.

Preordered both. Still humming and hawing about canceling one of them.. or both, who knows lol. Still concerned about the Makasi QC, not the biggest fan of the tanky bulk of the Carmel though I’m certain its quality is good.

Yeah after seeing the iwi with the pencil 18.6" barrel and seeing the mk-15 qc be not so good my hype levels have dropped significantly

You see those ones with the AR barrel conversion?? Being able to switch between 300 blackout and 223 and put shortie barrels on it makes me really want one!

I went with carmel and am going to be putting a reverse style faux suppressor on it because yeah the barrel is longggg but i was also in the boat of originally ordering the makasi then seeing the qc nightmare and as someone who has currently no 5.56 or .223 guns i just wanted the ONE that i ordered to be reliable. Yeah i unfortunately have to deal with a bit of a different looking firearm but functionally it is all there and im excited regardless to stick all the mods on it and make it a cooler gun

God speed, i also am not a fan of reverse cans, so not for me, but i hold no grudge against those that like em.

At least the IWI barrel is CHF. Basically the same as the X95 barrel and those things are stout.
