Buy recommendations Looking for a rifle sling

Hello people,

I am looking to buy a sling to go with my first rifle. I got a hunting trip coming up and I would like something that won't slip and won't interfere with my backpack.

I think I saw a sling that allows the rifle to rest vertically on the shoulder but with a another strap that goes around the body to prevent it from slipping.

Any recommendations?

What’s your rifle? or what mounting options do you have?

Honestly, all my slings I ever bought were either from Canadian Tire or Bass Pro. Check out the Huntshield brand slings at CT or the Cabela's brand slings at Bass Pro.

Just gonna throw this out there, instead of a sling I much prefer using an eberlestock h1 mini with a rifle scabbard. It’s basically a hydration pack that you can add a rifle scabbard to. Enough room for water, a rain jacket, some skinning knives and a first aid kit, your rifle is still handy but it’s also protected from getting banged around.

I cant speak for it, as I don't have one. But the 3hgr sling might work.

Was looking at it myself and it sounds like it fits the bill for what your looking for.

Magpul has a variety of slings, pretty much every kind of mount / carry solution you can think of.

Savvy sniper is another option.

Both should have multi quick detach options.
