Buy recommendations Ammo Source /SFRC

If you're looking for deals, SFRC / Ammo Source has 15% off until August 25th at noon. Coupon code: AUGUST.

Just picked up a replacement Henry Lever Supreme for $1547 all in. Normally $1700 plus shipping/tax or so everywhere. It's a replacement for the one I had to give up on a while back due to an emergency.

Just thought I'd share.

It's not allowed, Rule 6 no advertising. Advertising firearms should be happening on /r/firearmdealscanada not here.

Mod here. People/vendors are allowed to say they have sales. All that is banned is matching the keyword (name of gun for sale) with a price tag and or direct linking.

I would disagree, based on how the rules are worded. They should probably be updated.

This may also include: Anything gun related, references/links to sales, asking where to find firearms or regulated parts, discounts, events, promotions, screenshots/pics of vendor websites/flyers/etc, 3d printed files. If a post/comment could be construed as an advertisement, either blatantly or subtly, it may be removed at Mod discretion.

If the mods want to allow advertising that is their right, but I do think blatant or subtle firearm advertising should be reserved for /r/firearmdealscanada and not on /r/canadaguns.

A post like this is /r/firearmdealscanada worthy and not something I want to see overrun /r/canadaguns with just firearm advertising.

You over-read the key caveat: "This may" and "it may be removed at Mod discretion.", however I am open to rewriting to make it more clear this is more so discretionary than absolute.

We personally don't care about links to LEGAL vendors. It's more so to protect you from Reddit's retarded AI from falsely flagging and banning your account for "Rule 7: Private Transactions of Dangerous Controlled goods". I was banned under that rule for just commenting my collections and what I paid for it and others have been banned for linking to a gun safe on a furniture catalogue website.
