Misc Question about Taccom

Hey guys I've never been to Taccom, is it worth going?

Are there usually good deals there? Or special stuff that is hard to get anywhere else?

Hi! It looks like your post mentions buying, selling, or linking to retailers/private marketplaces.

Just a reminder to everyone that no offers to buy, purchase, sell are allowed on this sub due to Reddit's community restrictions on firearms transactions. Limit discussion to the items themselves and do not post any direct links to sales or promotions. Referring to legal vendors is allowed as long as links to do not go to retail listings for items. THIS INCLUDES GUN SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND GUN ACCESSORIES: Reddit Admins have banned users for this!

Sometimes yes, sometimes no, all depends what you're looking for and if retailers offer good deals, usually some good ammo deals or gun deals. It's cheap admission and you get to check out and see a lot of neat stuff you don't usually see. I'm personally planning on picking up a show deal for some thermals from opfor night solutions.

No idea but I'm curious as to what there even is to see or showcase at this point. The latest and greatest in Turkish shotgun clones?

Majority of booths taking sales will drop the tax, some will have similar deals.

Would I be able to get no tax on a vortex scope here?

In my experience you can find better deals throughout the year online. That said, if you've never been, it is a fun time. Especially if you're newer to Firearms or if you've only owned firearms for one specific thing like duck hunting. You'll get to see and hold dozens or hundreds of different things and learn about them and walk around and talk to people at their booths about different equipment. It's also a good spot to meet Outfitters if you're a hunter or trainers if you want to get better at shooting.
