Iv heard that they both have their pros and cons but other than some qc issues with the makasi they will be better then what is available now. I am leaning towards the carmel being better but I ordered both so well see how they turn out.(my wallet hates me now). I would recommend a Henry Supreme with rrp pew view furniture if you wanted another tactical manual action in .223/5.56.

I think OP should get a semi auto if it’s in his budget. Makasi or Carmel and then a Henry homesteader. Fun guns. Cheap ammo.

Yes I agree the Henry Supreme is sick. He also doesn’t have a lever gun yet. It’s a great gun. One of my favourites but I’m actually getting rid of mine so I can buy the Henry SPD Predator. 😄

Ya me too. When I first saw the Carmel I hated it. After watching countless videos on it, it grew on me. There’s way more Carmel content on YouTube than the Makasi that’s for sure.
