Gun and gear reviews Follow-up regarding brass catcher

Passed on buying one, ending up getting one as a birthday present. It's not perfect, but it honestly works quite well. I genuinely enjoyed using it.

Caldwell makes good products (generally) I wish my range would get these instead of just a broom and dust pan đŸ˜…

I was honestly surprised with the quality for what it was. At first I was expecting it to be flimsier.

Hands off my brass. Should be on the back of a t-shirt

Brass goblin and brassaholic would also work well.

Howd it work on grass or gravel?

Works great on concrete. Dirt not as well. I didn't use it on gravel, but for light grass and dirt I just poked the ground with it instead of rolling it, and that worked fairly well.

IIRC these are just relabeled pickle ball catchers. Might be a cheaper price too.

Best thing that I can suggest is to go to the dollar store or local hardware store and get a wooden broomstick. I was scooping up 12ga hulls between rounds of 5 Stand and the handle on mine bent on the very first day. I may have been a little too enthusiastic, but that aluminum tube is soft and very thin.

That said, it works a treat in grass and sand here, too!

Brass magnets are back in stock on Amazon. Grab one, they sell out quick!
