Hi guys. I don’t know about gun but which one is better. Vault long case or plano field locker

Pelican vault cases don't have their lifetime warranty like the heavy duty lines

Big difference is Vault is NOT waterproof. It’s just water resistant. In turn, don’t expect that sucker to reliably float either.

I had a see-it-to-believe-it experience. The Nanuks and Pelican 1700 series floated just fine drifting a while zero leaks. The cheaper Plamo, Flambeau and Pelican Vault (that weren’t mine fortunately) didn’t do so well…
