Will the new Tarrifs drive up Gun Prices?

Just was wondering if these new 50% tarrifs will drive up the cost of new firearms coming from America?

Eg. Carmel and Makasi ?

I read over the list and all the items and it doesnt say anything about firearms/parts/accessories/scopes/ammunition

Am i missing something?

I dont really feel like paying another 50% on top of the price of the Carmel and I dont think anyone else here does either

One day you’ll realize that the LPC voters that are gun owners don’t care about the sport but by then it’ll be too late. Did you see any of them vote for PP to save guns? I sure didn’t. And yes I’m a single issue voter on guns. One side wants total bans. Other side wants reasonable limits. By bringing more LPC voters into the sport you are just gonna get even more bans. How long until some lib thinks lever guns can be operated too fast and need to be banned? Or that pump actions are too quick?

I genuinely hope you make it out of the echo chamber that has you so brainwashed.  I promise life gets better when you accept that judging someone solely for not voting for Pollievre isn't a reasonable way to judge a large swath of people. You should probably be real weary of whoever worked so hard to convince you it is. They don't have your best interest in mind.

I may not agree with a lot of LPC voters on a bunch of stuff, but I'm sure as shit not gonna dismiss them entirely for it as people. Mostly cause that's retarded.

I think he needs to realize that the LPC’s core support aren’t ‘Blue hair antfia super soldiers.’ Or some other nonsense that is spewed. There core supporters are those who are 55+ year olds who adore the status quo. They can also afford to get upset at random social issues and think banning guns is a good use of money as they won’t be the ones paying for it. Actually that’s a point I bring up frequently about anti gun groups in Canada. They are often made up of those who are 55+ years old and other various privileged groups. Rather then actual anti gun violence or just anti violence groups who are actually made up of people who want to deal with the root cause issues. See Marcell Wilson vs Provost & Co. It’s that disconnect which is what really impacts Canada.

I think you're onto something there. Unfortunately there's a lot to gain for those with bad intentions when they pit us against each other.

I think convincing people like that guy to fight so hard and so ad-hominem will really embolden people who already aren't fans of firearms and probably push away those who are left leaning but on the fence about firearms.

In my real life, I don't think I know of anyone who's genuinely anti-gun. Lots of people don't want their own, but no one has ever shit on me for owning mine (other than maybe the questionable financial choices haha), and I think I've met more left leaning people who really want to try shooting and coming hunting.

I truly believe if we can make this the prevailing idea, that shooting sports, hunting, etc aren't a left-right issue, and we should be fighting crimes (including smuggled guns) instead of fighting guns, it becomes harder for the government to fight us on it.

As I keep telling people. The best thing a individual can do for gun ownership in Canada is get another individual to become a pal holder. Because it’s a numbers game at the end of the day.

And how many of those LPC voters do you think would dip if the PCs just got their shit together and stopped the LGBT hate in their party? Most LPC voters I know are also single issue, and the blue tent pushes a non issue against them.
