I love going when it opens! Even better when itβs not during the summer or holidays.
Mid-week at 830 am is perfection.

I used to have random weekdays off, but now am on a Mon-Fri schedule. Those Wednesday morning 8am shoots were wonderful.

The best feeling in the world is rolling up to your range and nobody is there.

There was supposed to be a black powder shoot at 8am, but I pulled into a ghost town. I don't know if it was cancelled or what.

Ridgedale Rod and Gun club in Abbotsford BC! It's a really nice range. Minor gripes but overall a really nice facility. As for the pistols, nothing too fancy. P320 with some heavy mods, and a Taurus TX22 Comp

Ey!! I miss shooting there. The long range was awesome when you had it all to yourself.

What an amazing day
I love having the range to myself!
I cant stand other people there yacking my ear off about hunting stories or being nosey looking at my firearms
What a beautiful Saturday OP

Haha I just love being able to go safe and swap targets at my own leisure. I've been practicing more with my pistols at 25 yards, and being able to check my groups after each mag is fantastic. That being said, I don't mind yapping with folks. I often just ask how they like whatever they are shooting, and depending on how they engage, I'll either leave em be, or keep chatting.

Thats why i wouldnt goto a car meet
You must be the kinda person that approaches people at the range who are sighting in their rifles and start talking to them
Cant you see people are busy at the range
Didn't your parents teach you not to talk to strangers?

Wow yep you're 100 percent correct about everything you said, should have told me you were a genius! Probably why everyone is always trying to talk to you because it's certainly not your personality

Saying that approaching people at the range and talking to them is a problem, is ridiculous. If you don't want to talk to people politely tell them your busy? Or just don't go into public spaces you moron. Didn't your parents teach you manners??...

Lol. Or wear a shirt that says "don't talk to me I'm a miserable person".

Being new to the hobby, I enjoy hearing stories and talking to other members. I feel flattered when someone asks about one of my guns too π
But I get ya, when Iβm dialled in or trying to zero my scope I want to be left alone.
