Finally got the AR charging handle and proper faux suppressor + magpul grip.

How do you like the charging handle mod ? I have the oversized stainless bolt handle but I think the AR style looks pretty sweet

I really like it I think it’s well worth it. I got mine off of Tommy enterprises and so far it just feels better then side charge.

The slight bowing of the replacement rail/cover bugs me. I was hoping it was just mine but I can see it in your pic too. I’ve also found the rail isn’t great with heavier optics as it seems to flex a bit compared to the stock metal one so I’ve stuck with a micro optic mounted pretty far forward for now.

I like the way it feels and looks but overall I’m holding my judgement until I’ve had time for some accuracy testing.

I wish I’d gone with the Alex Homebrew one as it’s all metal. Now it’ll be $200 just for the reciever cover replacement. You live you learn.

Yeah it’s not the best. plus I had a difficult time mounting my LPVO to it because the spacing between each rail is too tight.

Milled aluminum rail/top cover. Bigger, less sharp handle. Beefier recoil rod/spring bolster.

Get the alex homebrew one instead. Its full metal.

Fun fact, Alex homebrew makes the handle for tommy and he just prints the top section out of plastic.

How's that grip angle working for you? I have a b5 grip but been rocking an A2 for a while and it feels just about right. Im worried the b5 would bring it too far vertical/over vert

This one’s the K2 XL. I would say it’s just slightly too vertical for my liking but it still feels really nice compared to the OEM one. And it just makes it slightly farther to reach the mag release and safety but other then that I like it.

I’ve got the MOE-K on mine (same thing but no beaver tail and skinnier) and honestly, the grip angle works well if you like to shoot with the stock fully collapsed. It’s got a very PDW feel to it.
