Feets / Collection / My build Engraved Henry American Eagles

I recently deep engraved two of these Henry American Eagles for a client. One for himself and the other for one of his employees that had his 5 year anniversary.

Any have any leads on where I can get blank receiver covers (nickel and brass) in Canada? I suspect ordering directly from Henry in the States will be a customs headache.

LOL, pretty much the gist of what I said to him when he dropped off the rifles and I met him!

And the client is genuinely great guy.. he gave me a tip that was more than 2.5 the price I quoted him.

I think you should call them and they will direct you to the right place in Canada...

But honestly, they sell them on their website and are not regulated, so I would buy from them if I were you...

That's my opinion.

First of all nice work, secondly what did you use for engraving it, laser engraver?

Third, that is a cool boss.

1) many thanks for your compliments! 2) yes, an industrial grade fiber laser. Been doing as a side gig for about 4 years now.... but won't be getting rich anytime soon from doing it LOL 3) Uber cool boss/person. I quoted him $125 + PST to design and engrave both receivers. I knew full well that it would not make my minimum $20 /hour rate. But I really really wanted the project for my art portfolio.... he gave me $400 when I was done. Been working the same day job in accounting for nearly 25 years and my employer has never shown anywhere half as much gratitude for my efforts.
