Just because we don't have a mandatory minimum doesn't mean they should be allowed to wander the street either. I'm sure jail time could have been given, even up to the maximum.

I truly don't understand why we have judges that are dead set on not imprisoning convicted criminals. It seems like every conviction leads to nothing but the lightest sentence possible.

Jailing the actual criminals would remove 99% of the problem
