Have a m/38 and a m/96-38 (early conversion with the straight bolt handle) and I like mine. The Swede Mauser cock-on-close action is smooth and quick to manipulate.

Swedish Mausers are very well built and slick. 6.5x55mm is a great cartridge and quickly has become one of my favourites for how flat shooting it is. Sights are a bit small but do the job, bayonets have gone up in price but are obtainable

high quality firearm made from the best steel you could get at the time for the technology available. One of the most accurate Mauser actions. Hard to say between this and the K31 as to which one is my favourite.

I dont got one but I have a mauser 96 coming on friday and a mauser.m18 aswell excited to try em
