Genuine question, is there a Province you can ride around with a trigger locked yet uncase rifle legally? Or is this malt lickey type shit?

I know most of the east coast farmers can carry unlocked rifles for varmint / predator control

NS you can. Doesn't even have to be trigger locked.

Rcmp website says the same but I still feel like its taboo lol.... not judging at all.

Rcmp gave me shit for walking around on private land with an unloaded NR (SKS) with no trigger lock. RCMP generally don't know fuckall about laws but it doesn't really matter, arguing with them is no fun cause they always know best 🙃

They literally teach this at the CFSC course at my club lol. That the average RCMP officer is very ignorant/uneducated about firearm laws, and that you shouldn't argue with them because you'll just get yourself in trouble.

Ya, it's not something I'd do. I always trigger lock and lock my ammo, better to go over board than the bare minimum.

Not me. Loaded mag in the glove box, gun in the back seat ready to go in case I happen across a rogue coyote. Not really interested in what the pony bois think about it.
