Feets / Collection / My build Mossberg 590r chisel

Super pumped to have picked up this 590r chisel. Pun intended.

I grabbed a couple 6 round shell holders off amazon and got them mounted. On the receiver and the stock. OSight had a sale on the new se dpp so I picked one of those up aswell. I need to pick up a proper adaptor for it before I can actually use it but this printed one is good for mock up. Removed the the plastic cover for the chisel sight adaptor and was able to move the Magpul mbuis back a few slots. Have a carlsons rifled choke tube on the way and plan on adding a +1 tube extension and a ms1 sling. Over all pretty happy with this purchase. And yes I left the yellow mossberg tube cover on just piss people off

Imo I'd lose the reciever side saddle so the stock can fold properly.

I’ve got no use for a folder so I figured why not also the stock doesn’t lock folded so really not much use

This is good advice regardless. Quality velcro options like S&J Hardware or Esstac are the better solution for ammo storage anyways.

I'd really like to get a 590R but I want it in 14in and I can't forgive Mossberg for not putting an mlok forend on the most tactical pump they offer. What the heck were they thinking haha!?

Yeah and you can’t even throw a Magpul on without hacking stuff up I’ve got a 10.5 barrel mag fed shotgun and it’s fun but pretty useless I like shooting homebrew target load slugs. And it’s wildly inaccurate even with the rifles choke. My semi auto has 18.5 and is a laser as far as slugs go. But it doesn’t cycle the target load slugs well so this was my compromise
