Alright, here goes. 3rd firearm ever. Got it for 599 plus tax from gundealer. Chinese sks. Stock aint that bad. All numbers match except the bolt handle.

Growing up this was the only firearm ive seen being used the most around me and had my PAL only so i could own one(other reasons too but most prominent is this).

Touching my very own for the first time literally made me tear up and i cant exaggerate the feeling at all.

Who knows whats in store for tomorrow, rather buy one than cry for not being able to own one ever. Thanks to all you guys and gals for really kicking out my indecision and getting me convinced to get one.

My pleasure. I know its not a french tickler due to it not having a plasticky textured hand rest, but i really dont get why theres a spiked bayonet on it

Actually the French Tickler and blade bayonet rifles are fairly recent (all told) and somewhat special imports in their ways. The blade bayonet representing an early transitional phase from original Soviet parts to their own models, and the French Ticklers being the later production, product improved models.

In between, you have the regular Chinese SKS' that were sold for years in Canada with all wood handguards and spike bayonets, there are a ton of them around.
