Good lord. What’s this abomination

No5 that had some Bubba work done by previous owners.

No32 scope mount was installed and one of the rear sight mounts had been removed, so I can’t put irons back on. They messed around with the forestock as well. It’s a legit No5 with the weight relief cuts throughout but not a museum condition one.

I… like it. No permanent modifications?

Just a bolt-on adapter that leaves no damage. Some of the previous owners have done some stuff that’s permanent now.

That’s alright by me. 🤓

It’s a modern tactical scout rifle!

I love and hate it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with buying a previously sporterized rifle and doing some bubba and tacticool to it. There are thousands of these in the country that are already chopped up.

Finally, some good content.

My eyes, they burn…

Other than the scope mount you could just put the old stock back on and its fine but hey man, that seems fun to shoot!

Number 5 kicks and those stupid rubber butt pads are all rocks now haha

Far Cry special unlock

2

Might as well convert it to .45

What is the buttstock adapter? Asking for a friend.

Don't listen to the haters and Bubba that bad boy if you like, guns are meant to be used how ever you like, it would look great with a Jungle pro mag! https://store.theshootingcentre.com/promag-enfield-1-mkiii-magazine-303-british-10-round-blued-steel/

I’ve heard some mixed results trying that setup

870 or 590 stock? Have a 5.56 Bubba'd Lee Enfield that probably deserves the same treatment

Neither. It was custom made by a guy halfway around the world and at quite an expense. More than double the Mesa 870 adapter price.

My dedication to upsetting the Fudds goes beyond financial sense

Who hurt you?

1

u/Awkward_Cheetah7519 Aug 18 '26

We need to put bubba down

1

u/Cager_CA Aug 18 '26

this is the worst thing I've ever seen

1

u/Bambam4040 Aug 18 '26

Why would you put that on that rifle…. But you do you

Shooting the original stock off a bench isn’t the most comfortable setup versus my full length Enfields. It had already been mucked with so I can’t put a rear iron sight back on.
It’s all reversible and a little more elegant than something TrenchRat guy would do.

I got one my father bought new and fired once and packed it up now I have in best of mint shape it can be

2

u/TheSockington Aug 19 '26

That’s a great heirloom. My late father was a hunter so I inherited a rarely shot Ruger M77 300winmag and Remington 870. He also served with the UN in the mid 1960s but I can’t obtain the rifles he would have used there.

This No5 was a cheapie from GunPost that has had some serious fuckery over the years. I pulled the forend and there’s some interesting bedding that was done.

Have mercy

1

u/Last_Temperature_599 Aug 18 '26

I'm 100% sure the original butstock is better and faster. Bolt actions and manual actions with pistol grip never made sense to me. If it was a good idea they would've made it this way in 1939 or 46 but they didn't

1

u/vroflraptor 29d ago

That better not increase the proficiency of your mad minute or else the Enfield is getting the ban hammer

1

u/No_Maybe4408 Aug 18 '26

Will definitely be handy on your quest up a mountain to destroy the ring.
