Try Aztec Armoury. They can get firearm parts that "don't ship internationally" from the states imported legally into Canada.

Super handy to get certain hard to find parts.

Only drawback is that, since import permits are issued per shipment and not per part, they only import 3-4 times a year. So you can hypothetically buy something through them that they go aquire immediately but then can sit inside a larger crate with a bunch of other people's orders for 4 months in the states before it even gets shipped up here and then still a few more days to get to your place
