I bet this is about piston spring. First time taking apart my 590a1 i launched the mag tube spring about 15ft into the wall and knocked over my gfs funko pops

Speaking of springs, I have a custom SKS chassis where the manufacturer overdrilled the trigger spring hole, making it too large. That means every time I disassemble the trigger group, the spring pops out.
Does anyone have a good adhesive recommendation to help retain the spring in the hole? I am looking for something like hot glue, but more durable and ideally removable down the road. I just want the spring to hold each time I dissemble and not fall to the ground.

Either the sks piston spring, or funny enough my AR15 buffer tube pin spring. Whenever I unscrew that too fast it goes to the stratosphere

I learned that the gas tube release lever works in two stages the hard way. There's a small dent in the garage door.
Also the tool kit in the stock finger trap.
Also how little the mag follower needs to be depressed to release the bolt hold open.

My AR15 detent spring is still orbiting planet x in an alternate universe. It popped out and literally vanished into the ether.
I swear, you could launch one in a level 4 clean room with smooth flat surfaces all around, painted white, with a giant earth magnet in the middle and it will still disappear.
I'm sure the 10 or so fcg packs I have only have that spring taken out. F that spring. F it all to hell...

I couldn’t take off the trigger guard so I had to use the claw hammer and then when it’s finally gone it just flies off after hitting my thumb lol

Lmao that's EXACTLY what happened to me, first gun I ever took apart was my cherished BB gun at like 10 years old. Never found the spring 🥲

Russian SKS was the first rifle I tried to disassemble.
I started a YouTube video explaining it and went step by step to complete each step. Step 2 I believe was to take the dust cap off, and as it was the first rifle I had disassembled I did not realize the charging handle being back meant it was under pressure. Yes, yes I know I was stupid.
So here I am, all happy I’m about to take apart my first gun, and on step two I end up sending the bolt back at Mach-Fuck-You into my wall at 3 in the morning.
Anyways, I learned to dry wall that day/night too cause my parents (who are not exactly gun friendly to begin with) were not pleased I put a new hole in the dry wall.
