Feets / Collection / My build Celik Arms Chimera

Post image

Just wanted to share my build! This is my first rifle, haven't even had the chance to shoot it since I put the scope and bipod on it but I am really happy with the look.

I really wish there was more opportunity for customization, like on the hand guard. I have seen an aftermarket option from Tommy Enterprises but I have not heard good things about it.

Thats a nice build.. what is it?

Edit: oh that's the Akdas Adler isn't it? How do you like it?

Reminds me a lot of the Chimera, I've shot both. My experience has been flawless operation, but only about 100 shots fired (both rifles). Still promising though that there wasn't a single malfunction. The Adler seemed to take any mags, the Chimera only liked metal duramags and P mags.

What were the reprocussions of using mags other than the metal duramags and P mags?

I've had an issue with my Chimera, Ive only taken it to the range once, and by the end it was failing to cycle properly. The hammer wasn't going back on its own, so I would cock it, shoot, then nothing. Cock it, shoot, nothing.

Mind you, I put 260 rounds through it that day. The guys at the gun store told me I probably should have lubed it up before using it for the first time. None the less, they actually swapped my gun out for a brand new one. The one in the picture is brand new, never been shot.

Wtf they gave you another one? That's crazy lol never heard of anything like that before, lucky you. The other mags just jammed, weren't reliable, MCT and Crossmags. Those same mags run just fine in the Adler, though your mileage may vary. It's a metal handguard in cause you were wondering.

Lol yeah they did, I was just as surprised as you are.

The Adler looks sick, I might have to get one some day
