I'm gonna get downvotes for this but I did buy 6 10/30s when they popped up for 50 bucks. Sold 4 of them for 75 each to effectively pay for my kept 2.
Wouldn't concider that a scalper move and I didn't ask top dollar. But at least I let others enjoy them instead of hoarding 100s of them and then sell them for 150 later.
Even 50$ a pop is criminal but import fees, crimping, and all that jazz.
Why bother with a crimped 10/20 or 10/30? It can't be uncrimped, at least not without a fair challenge, and you're paying dearly for the extra real estate
A normal lar 10 rounder seems to make more sense 🤷
Maybe a month and a half ago? I started picking these up when I pre-ordered in April. 3x 10/10, 3x 10/20, 4x 10/30, 2x 5/30 pmags, and 2x .458 SOCOM ( although its a complicated understanding of the pin capacity, but it essentially only holds 8x 5.56)
I bought them believing they would hold 14. Apparently the ruling stated they needed to be treated as a 5.56 mag, and pinned to 5 as a result. However, with the original .458 follower it is pinned to 5. If changed out to a 5.56 follower, it can hold 8
Holy shit, what a collection; very jealous. What did you pay for those 10/30’s if you don’t mind me asking. Also nice to see that the LAR15PISTOLMAG text looks the same on your 10/20’s; I thought mine had a print error all squished up like that
Just for anyone who may not know, if you have stainless steel mags imported from irunguns they will come pinned, not crimped, with aluminum rivets.... Feels like everywhere selling steel mags in Canada is crimping them these days.
And yes, I know these mags in the post are pistol mags. Even IRG crimps those. I'm just sharing info.
