Trail and Tubes Tursday

Love a kit post, nicely done dude! Is the LPVO usable with nods on 1x?

Fantastic setup. Mildly orgasmic.

Do you have a big head? I've been wondering about those boonies for big skulled men. 👀

You’ll be fine, it has a alot of room for adjustment.

I can wear a toque underneath.

What tube did you go with from cold harbour... ive been debating spending the money on a 1600 FOM NVT4 tube for so long that i spent the money already but i still want an night vision device

I got a nnvt 1400+ and it ended up being 1550 fom. SNR is really the better metric to go off though. CHS is beyond reputable. However if I could do it again I’d spend less and get an opfor refurb phontonis of the same FOM.

Can you get a aite picture with the stock fully extended? My scopes further back and I have issues

I don’t fully extend the stock unless prone. Are you using a vudu also?

No strike eagle but I can’t find the eye box fully extended got a different set of rings to move it back but I like the one piece cantilever mount just doesn’t work for me

If you want to move the scope back, just flip around the mount. 🧠

Don’t insult my intelligence. I’m quite aware I could do that, but….that look fucking stupid I just ordered a non cantilever one piece scope mount

Relax, don't be so touchy. I wasn't insulting you. A lot of people just aren't aware that scopes can be mounted in mounts "backwards". I've seen it suggested multiple times to get proper eye relief with boltguns, and I used to have a Strike Eagle mounted in a backwards mount on my Ruger American.

It was the brain emoji that suggested you were insulting me

I got the trail plus in 300 blackout it’s unreal accurate like holes touching at 100

Yeah I’m not sure what the eye relief on vortex is like but I just go to the first extension with my stock.

Yeah I’m not unhappy with the accuracy of mine in 223. Especially with heavy grain rounds.

Yep, heavy grain is the way with the 223 barrel twist :)
