Buy recommendations just bought this bolt action 17hmr (without scope). any good scope recommendations?

Vortex crossfire scopes are pretty solid and wont break the bank, plus a great warrenty.

Budget? Range you're planning on shooting? Intended use? Bench? Varmint? Just funzies? Are you used to mil or moa?

roughly 400$ . multi purpose, mostly varmint but funzies too. not used to moa or mil, i know what they are but i never went so technical with my stuff. as long as it can shoot accurately from pretty far away im happy

Have a look at the vortex diamondback tactical 3-9 get your foot in the door if you get interested in precision/longer range and want to work on dialing.
Or have a look at Bushnell some more vortex and cabelas lines of scopes if you're looking to just zero and forget. I had a cheap cabelas brand bdc reticle for 17hmr and it was surprisingly clear for the price

Second this, if you're not doing long range precision stuff you can get deals that work relatively well by watching Cabella's sales.
