Buy recommendations Double Rifle Hard Case Suggestions
Hey guys,
I just got into firearms and I am looking to get my first hard case. I would like to get one that can fit two rifles so that I can bring those to the range without having to carry multiple cases. Don't know if that matters, but I've got a 22LR and a .270.
Thing is, from what I have seen so far, I would need to cut out the foam in the shape of my rifles. I would like to avoid that since I plan on getting more rifles in the future and I don't want to be swaping foams everytime.
I am more a of ''buy once, cry once'' type of person and I am looking at Pelican and Nanuk, but I am open to other suggestions.
Any suggestions as far as specific models go?

I put $10k+ match rifles into Savior Equipment soft cases for general range trips. When I want/need more protection for cross country road trips or flying, those soft cases go into a Nanuk 995 hard case. I like my Nanuk cases much more than my Pelicans.

Check out the magpul Daka case. They have a build able foam type thingy (modular) so you can customize the case for each pair of rifles.
Or just get a case that uses 2 layers of the eggshell pattern foam, more budget oriented but meets your goal of fits everything all the time.

The Plano double rifle case is pretty budget friendly. I can fit two rifles with scopes in there.

You can get the Flambeau Double Rifle Case, see if they sell them at your local firearm stores.
It has a lot of space, enough for 2 firearms with scope and you can still put some other accessories on the side.
It's also very sturdy as well unlike similar case made by Plano.
I have it for 6 years and very happy with this case.

I find hard cases heavy and expensive, you may want to consider a double bag or even two separate bags. Soft cases have more pouches for all the other range items you'll need too.
