Feets / Collection / My build New gun day #5

First of all, thanks for the major response to my M4 vs 1301 post. I went to the shop and held both, I do feel that the M4 (in my hands) feels much sturdier and solid, I didnt like how plasticky the 1301 felt.

I decided to cancel my Makasi and refund with store credit so grabbed this lil guy for free while I decide on a shot gun.

I havent shot it yet, but so far impressed with the first impression build quality. Planning on adding on a reverse can and maybe a different stock. Wanting to make it look like a honeybadger ish style.

On another note, anyone have Alexs homebrew manual hold bolt open button and the AR style charging handle?

Just be careful, the TM22 with the metal receiver is alright, I bought the TM22 Feather which is polymer, not even 3 days and 300 rounds into my ownership it had an out of battery detonation and tore the inside of the barrel up. I dropped it off for warranty work, and from what I heard being discussed there are LOTS of TM22’s (mostly feathers) being returned for all sorts of issues.

It’s a neat little gun, but be very anal about the ammo you’re using. I was using CCI AR Tactical 22LR ammo and experienced this failure, so im not too sure what else I can kinda do. Im just hoping whatever is damaged is covered under warranty.

Weird. I have maybe 2500 rounds through my feather and I can't even think of one failure I've had. I only use CCI, either mini mags or the AR Tactical stuff

Yeah, im not too sure what happened. The case itself has a tear on the rim, but it was for sure out of battery. I heard a bang and a pop at the same time, followed by a burning feeling on my face lol… I only had it for three days too, im hoping warranty will pull through!
