Feets / Collection / My build New gun day #5

First of all, thanks for the major response to my M4 vs 1301 post. I went to the shop and held both, I do feel that the M4 (in my hands) feels much sturdier and solid, I didnt like how plasticky the 1301 felt.

I decided to cancel my Makasi and refund with store credit so grabbed this lil guy for free while I decide on a shot gun.

I havent shot it yet, but so far impressed with the first impression build quality. Planning on adding on a reverse can and maybe a different stock. Wanting to make it look like a honeybadger ish style.

On another note, anyone have Alexs homebrew manual hold bolt open button and the AR style charging handle?

Why did you cancel the makasi?

A $2500 dollar rifle should not need work to function. At that price point id expect it to be sturdier than my sks. Ridiculous.

But also its pretty much the only real modern semiautomatic rifle we have on our market. I love the sks but i dont think it holds up against it and the tm22 is a range toy that grown men are using to cope with.

I agree, i want the cool rifle too. I grew up with COD i want all that shit. But $2500 for a dysfunctional and poorly manufactured product is fkin ridiculous. Would u buy a benelli m4 at $3000 for it to be a piece of shit?
Id love to see a burnout test between a makasi mk15 and a russian sks.
And agreed with the TM22 being a cope. I think the mag sleeves look retarded. I bought it for a 22. And it seems like a decent product at the price its at.
If makasi pulls a miracle and it doesnt get banned by spring 2027 maybe Ill pick one up.
