Buy recommendations Marlin 1894 SBL Optic
Looking for recommendations on an optic for the SBL in .357 magnum.
Ive been looking at the Primary Arms SLX and GLX series. Ive never used a red dot before on anything and would prefer something with an actual zoom. I only range shoot so far and my club has 0-50, 100 and 200 yard ranges although I don't expect the 357 to be useable at 200 yards.
Front runner is the GLX 2x Prism scope since its really compact but there doesn't seem to be anywhere i can see one in person.
Has anyone used the glx 2x on one of these before? Any other recs?
I also don't want the gun to look ridiculous, its such a beauty.

In my experience, the cheaper sights with magnification needs to be mounted way on the back, but the rear sight gets in the way, plus they parallax very easily, it really 'slows down' the gun.
Since you have the 357 model, if you aren't planning on shooting far anyway, I'd say a red dot like a T1. I ran one with my 45-70 model and also use another T1 on my M4 with slugs, both are accurate and fast.
For shits and giggles I put my full sized nightforce 32x and dmr ii 30x on, it gets real clunky and you can't handle the gun as casually anymore.
For extra low profile, an acro also works if you really aren't down with the ironsights.
