And grandpa mike isn’t on Reddit, doesn’t subscribe to CCFR, and doesn’t know that he is technically a criminal. Bravo and kudos to the government for making criminals out of nothing.

They lost my paperwork on a license renewal, and used it as an excuse to confiscate and destroy all my pistols, and my AR. The cop who came to pick them up was nice and all, but it was like he was looking for crimes while he was on my doorstep...

I'm like "I called you! I'm trying to do the right thing. This is about lapsed paperwork, I didn't do anything wrong. If you're looking for crimes to get me on technicality, while confiscating thousands of dollars worth of my property, over paperwork, you can because there is no proper legal system in place for what we are doing here, but why?"

See this is another reason why I don't bother with getting a restricted license. Fuck that headache. My guns may be longer than id like but the government doesn't know what I have.

Yeah, no point in having it now anyways imo. They more or less banned anything anyone would want with it.

This is what the current government want. Canadians giving up. People should continue to get Restricted licenaes even if they don't plan to buy just to show our interests are still alive and we want a government that will take our side.

yeah I suppose I could just get the license. guess I just didnt see the point of spending the money on the extra course if There weren't any guns In that category I was interested in anymore

would have loved to get a pistol and get one of those chassis' kits for it.

You realize it says you’re exempt when waiting on a license application? Just not allowed to use or transport.

Something seems off….

Some people like to make things up on the internet.

Make what up?

They made me destroy my guns, before they would let me have my liscense back. There's no reason for me to lie about that, literally nothing that I can gain from telling you what happened.

Exempt from what?

If could have avoided destroying my guns, I would have.

They said they didn't get my paperwork, I resent it, and when they got it, they said it was too late and that I had to reapply for a new lisence, but they wouldn't let me do that, unless I destroy my restricted firearms. They didn't care about my long guns.
