Gun and gear reviews Canada Safety Source, cancelled order

About 4 months ago I ordered the Samson b-tm stock from them. I bought a 10/22 at the same time specifically for this build. I knew the wait time would be long, thats fine. The end result would be worth it. But today (4 months later) they emailed me to tell me I would never get my stock and they cancelled my order because Samson will now only do business through Ruger. Anyway, I'm sad, disappointed, angry. And if you did get your Samson stock, I'm jealous.

If you ordered through CSS, then you ordered through a grey market drop shipper. When the A-TM and B-TM stocks first launched, Brownells was their international distributor. That seems to have fallen through, no doubt thanks to Ruger picking them up as an OEM supplier. I'm honestly surprised they cancelled the order.

Yup, alot of promises from this business with absolutely no follow thru

I had the same experience. Tried them out because they are a Canadian retailer, 6 months later and a bunch of false promises I cancelled the order and saved $100 importing the same part out of the States

I was looking to get a B-TM stock too. I emailed them beforehand, and they told me they were no longer taking orders.
If you’re still interested in a B-TM, I saw someone selling a complete build on GunPost right now. If that ad had popped up a few days earlier, I would’ve bought it without hesitation. But I’d already bought a Carbon Fiber Takedown after I thought there was no chance of getting the B-TM.

I don't know what that is but sounds like you should have bought it from a US retailer instead and imported.

Yes it is what my next move is. But Ruger is now their distributor and on their website they ask you to be a US resident

Find another retailer that has it maybe IRUNGUNS? Or an importer to get it from Ruger.
