Fix my gun RF224 Takedown pin

Was going to switch out my main take down pin (8mm guy) with a high grade half thread bolt and nut. Mine has become so loose and i don't want to threadlock it in all the time..

Would anyone have any objections to that, reasons why i shouldn't etc?

Thank you

I want to do a similar thing. That takedown pin was so tight at first and now walks out in about 20 shots.

Can you take a picture of the parts you want to use, please?

This is what I did.

*Home hardware grade 8 fine pitch half thread 5/16" 2&1/2" bolt with nut

*Cut to length and dipped in gun blue to make it black

Buying the 2 and a half inch bolt will give you the exact amount of none threaded part of the bolt

Seemed to have worked out perfect

Is it kinda ugly, yes... Is it super functional? Also yes
