I do custom cerakote (a durable ceramic coating) regular paint won’t last long

Is the polymer hard enough under the cerakote so it doed not scratch and knick?

Plenty hard enough! I skip anything softer of course, like the grip in this one. But a lot of say the magpul polymer hard grips I do the full grip
