So long as you’re not violating a municipal noise ordinance, yes. What would be illegal is hunting at night, so I recommend having an obvious target to shoot at if you do.
Can’t speak to all provinces but in BC the CFO put in place some rather restrictive policies with regards to night shooting at actual ranges (mostly requiring full illumination, extra flagging) in response to some NV night shoots (cause garbage bureaucrats with made-up jobs and their political masters don’t like the idea of us subjects being proficient in the dark). None of that applies to night shooting on crown land though although hunting at night us forbidden (outside of predator control).
